Visibility of Peruvian Nursing Research

The letter to the editor aims to highlight the crucial role of nursing in health, reiterates its holistic approach and the need for more investment in education and leadership. It highlights the challenge of integrating research into clinical practice and raises the question of how to allocate more time to nurses for research. It proposes that the Peruvian College of Nurses promote research among its members. It points out the scarcity of indexed journals in Peru and suggests how indexing in recognized databases could improve the visibility and recognition of nursing research. It emphasizes the importance of supporting and promoting nursing research through resources, training and collaboration. It concludes by urging actions to promote the development of nursing research in the country.
