COVID-19 is a disease that has not discriminated in its devastating action against humanity. Professionals require of dedication, commitment and total identification and those who contribute to preserving human existence, through their actions such as nurses, need sensitivity because it becomes the center of their work. In the context of the pandemic, nursing has played a fundamental role because it has not only helped with the immediate care of COVID-19 patients in front-line treatment, but has also performed administrative and organizational functions in the healthcare and education system. The attitude of nursing professionals has impacted attention to the health needs of the population in this context. Nursing has contributed to the achievement of lifestyles focused on self-care and disease prevention.
